Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 to 1 yellow onion, chopped
    1 lb. zucchini squash
    6 oz. grated Longhorn cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion; drain and cut squash in 1/4-inch slices and cook 5 minutes in small amount of water.
    Drain and reserve 1/4 cup liquid.
    Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Layer 1/2 meat, 1/2 squash and 1/2 cup cheese; combine soup and liquid. Layer meat, squash and soup and top with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
