Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot milk
    1/2 stick margarine
    4 large eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 shake of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 gtts. yellow coloring
Preparation
    Pour hot milk over margarine; add sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla and coloring. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into deep pie crust, then sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 375\u00b0. Do not open oven door for 17 minutes. Pie is cooked when tip of paring knife comes out clean after inserting halfway between center and edge of pie.
