Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. potatoes
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/3 c. white vinegar
8 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. water
Preparation

Cook potatoes until tender.
Peel, slice and set aside.
Fry bacon until crisp.
Cook onion and pepper in bacon drippings.
Mix together flour, sugar, salt, pepper and celery seed and stir in. Cook over low heat until bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vinegar and water; boil 1 minute.
Add bacon.
Add hot mixture to potatoes and mix well.
Add pickle vinegar, salt or sugar to suit your taste.
