Hearty Ham, Cabbage Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. celery, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and cut in half
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced potatoes, undrained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. catsup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 lb. ham, cubed
    3 c. cabbage, thinly sliced
Preparation
    In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, saute celery, onion and garlic in oil for 2 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Makes 12 (1 cup) servings.
