Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    nutmeg to taste
    cinnamon to taste
    4 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle apples with nutmeg and cinnamon and 1/2 cup of sugar; add water.
    Place in a 9-inch square baking dish.
    Cream margarine and remaining sugar.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Pat this mixture over apples and bake 30 to 45 minutes. Serves 6.
    This is delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream.
