Strawberry Sherbet(Definitely For Spring!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
    4 c. sugar
    2 2/3 c. milk *
    2/3 c. orange juice
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix strawberries and sugar and let stand until juicy (about 1 1/2 hours).
    Mash or puree in blender; strain seeds (optional). Add milk, orange juice and cinnamon; mix well.
    Freeze in crank-type freezer or pour mixture into freezer trays or loaf pans and freeze about 3 hours, stirring 2 or 3 times.
    Pack in plastic containers for freezer.
    Yields 1 gallon.
