Grandma Lewis' Velvet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sliced pineapple, cut into small pieces
    1/2 lb. nuts, cut fine
    1 lb. white grapes, cut in half and seeded
    3/4 lb. marshmallows, cut fine
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
    3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and let stand 1 hour.
    Before cutting fruit, dry with a clean cloth.
    Scald the pineapple juice in double boiler.
    Stir in yolks of well beaten eggs.
    When cold, add whipped cream.
    Mix with fruit and refrigerate for 24 hours.
