Oatmeal Crispies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Blend flour, then oats with shortening mixture.
Shape into rolls.
Wrap into waxed paper.
Freeze and use as wanted.
Slice whole frozen. Bake 12 minutes or until browned at 400\u00b0.
