Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or 1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with the buttermilk to the creamed mixture.
    Add extracts.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
