Cheddar Crisps *(From Gourmet Magazine) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unsalted butter
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    cayenne pepper to taste (up to 1/2 tsp.)
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and Cheddar until light and fluffy.
    Continue beating and add flour a little at a time until combined.
    Stir in dash of salt and cayenne.
    Stir in Rice Krispies.
    Form into balls by heaping teaspoonfuls and place 2 inches apart on buttered baking sheets.
    Flatten each with back of a floured fork.
    Bake in middle of 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
    Makes approximately 55.
    Freezes well.
