"Lakeville Lake Cioppino"(From Sorrento, Italy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. clams
1/2 lb. haddock
1/2 lb. cod
1 lb. large shrimp
1 lb. scallops
1/4 c. olive oil
2 large onions, diced
4 cloves garlic, peeled
6 large tomatoes, peeled
1 c. and 1/2 bottle white wine
tomato paste
Italian seasoning
basil
bay leaf
Preparation

Cut fish into large pieces.
Scrub clams; remove shells from shrimp.
Heat oil in 3 or 4-quart casserole with a cover.
Add onions, garlic and chopped tomatoes.
Saute 10 minutes.
Add 1 cup wine and simmer 10 minutes.
Add fish and 1/2 bottle wine.
Add Italian seasoning, basil and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Fish will break up and thicken soup.
If too thick, add rest of bottle of wine.
If too thin, add 1 tablespoon tomato paste.
