Myrtie'S Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell, brushed with 2 tsp. melted butter
Preparation

Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Gradually stir in scalded milk.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool on rack, then chill.
