Gingerbread Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 c. hot water
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, molasses, oil and spices and beat well. Dissolve baking soda in the hot water and add to mixture.
    Sift in flour and beat well.
    Add boiling water and beat lightly and quickly.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
