1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each egg, but don't overbeat. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour into floured cake pans. Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Turn onto racks to cool, then frost when totally cooled.
