Broccoli And Crab Bisque - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped leeks, broccoli and sliced mushrooms
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 c. butter or 2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 small bay leaves
1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper
6 c. chicken broth
1 pt. half and half
6 oz. Swiss cheese or Jarlsberg
10 oz. frozen crabmeat, thawed and drained
Preparation

Cook vegetables in butter and garlic until crisp-tender. Blend in flour and seasonings.
Add broth and cream.
Stir until thickened and bubbly.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Add crabmeat and heat through.
