Zachary'S Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
15 drops of favorite color food coloring

Preparation

Cook all ingredients in 1 1/2-quart saucepan, over medium heat, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring until mixture forms a ball.
Remove dough from saucepan and let stand on counter 5 minutes.
Knead dough about 30 seconds, until smooth.
Cool completely.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Knead dough too while adding coloring.
