Ruby'S Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. thin sliced cucumbers
    1 large onion
    2 Tbsp. canning salt
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onion and salt.
    Soak 2 hours.
    Pour off water. Mix sugar and vinegar.
    Pour over cucumbers and freeze in butter bowls.
    Leave room for expansion of liquids.
