Run For The Roses Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
4 large eggs
2 Tbsp. bourbon
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until blended.
Stir in pecans and chocolate morsels.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until center is almost set.
Cool on a wire rack.
Yields one 9-inch pie.
