Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 c. water
1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 pt. strawberries
2 deep dish pie shells, baked or prepared graham cracker crusts
Preparation

Boil sugar, cornstarch and water 3 minutes.
Add Jell-O to hot mixture (no additional water, just Jell-O only).
Place strawberries in pie shells (can slice strawberries if desired). Pour mixture over strawberries.
Place in refrigerator to congeal, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Top with Cool Whip if desired. Enjoy.
