Asparagus Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    22 to 24 slices white bread
    1 (15 oz.) can asparagus, well drained
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    olive slices for garnish (optional)
Preparation
    Combine the first 3 ingredients; mix well and set aside.
    Trim crusts off bread; press each slice
    to 1/8 inch with rolling pin or fingertips.
    Spread each slice with a teaspoon of butter/onion mixture.
    Place an asparagus spear on each slice of bread.
    Roll up tightly and secure with wooden toothpick.
    Brush rolls with melted butter and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Remove picks and garnish (if desired); serve warm.
