Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/3 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. salted Spanish peanuts
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Grease\ttwo
    15 1/2 x 2-inch baking sheets.
    Keep warm. Place sugar,
    corn
    syrup
    and
    water
    in a 3 quart casserole. Cook in microwave
    on Full power for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft\tball stage
    is
    reached.
    Stir
    occasionally.
    Stir
    in peanuts.
    Cook in microwave for 10 to 12 minutes or until hard crack
    stage
    is reached.
    At
    this\tstage, when dropped into water\tthe
    syrup separates
    into
    threads which are hard and brittle.
    Stir\tin butter and baking soda.
    Pour half of candy on
    each sheet, spreading to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cook.
    Break into pieces.
