Sausage-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 lb. mild sausage
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    1 1/2 c. celery
    2 pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
Preparation
    Brown first 3 ingredients.
    Drain.
    Combine rice, celery and soup mix with sausage mixture.
    Place in a greased 3-quart casserole.
    Add 5 cups boiling water.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0, uncovered.
    Top with almonds last 15 minutes.
    Can be put together ahead and cooked 30 minutes.
    Finish cooking at serving time.
