Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tea kettle boiling water
    1 pkg. frozen petit peas
    minced onion to taste
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place frozen peas in strainer; pour boiling water over peas. In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
    Cubed Cheddar cheese can be used. Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour.
