Walnut Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. enriched flour
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Mix in water and vanilla, then flour and nuts.
    Chill for 3 to 4 hours.
    Roll out in long rolls 1/2 inch across.
    Cut in 3 inch lengths and shape in crescents.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
    Do not brown.
    Take out and roll in confectioners sugar while warm.
