Gold Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. lard or butter
    3 eggs (or 4 if small)
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Mix until smooth.
    Bake in sheet pan or three 9-inch cake pans at 375\u00b0 until done.
