Deluxe Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can asparagus
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    1/2 lb. plain cheese, grated
    crushed cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Melt 3 tablespoons butter; blend in flour.
    Add milk, salt and pepper.
    Cool until thickened, stirring constantly.
    In a medium casserole, arrange layer of half the asparagus, half the mushroom soup, 1 egg (sliced), 2 tablespoons butter, half of the cheese, half the white sauce and half the cracker crumbs.
    Repeat layers, topping with cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
