Canned Apple Pie Filling(Serves 7 Quarts) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend in large pan.
    Stir in 10 cups water.
    Cook over moderate heat.
    Stir constantly until thick and bubbly.
    Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
    Stir.
    Divide in 7 quart jars.
    Add sliced apples to fill jar.
    Cold pack 15 to 20 minutes after water boils around cans.
