Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried lima beans
    7 medium tomatoes, cored, peeled and crushed
    2 qt. water
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 large stalk celery, diced
    1/2 lb. lean ham, cubed
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, until beans are soft.
    Add water as needed to maintain quantity.
    Soup is thick and rich; good for cold winter day, served with fresh, hot rolls.
