Miracle Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches (undrained)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9 x 11-inch pan in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Combine next four ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
    Add milk and blend well.
    Pour mixture into pan.
    Spoon peaches and juice over batter; do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
