Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cubed white bread
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    8 large eggs
    6 c. milk
Preparation
    Toast firm white bread in cubes on baking sheet until golden brown; cool.
    Soak 1/2 cup raisins in hot water.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
    Whisk together eggs in large mixing bowl, then gradually whisk in sugar mixture.
    Whisk in 6 cups milk and vanilla extract.
