Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. shucked oysters with liquid
    salt and pepper to taste
    seafood seasoning (if desired)
    1 c. hot milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    dash of garlic powder
Preparation
    Cook oysters in their liquid until edges curl, about 5 minutes.
    Add milk, margarine or butter, salt, garlic and pepper. Heat, but do not boil.
    Serve at once.
