Mildred'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. warm water
    flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 tablespoon sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. Let stand 4 or 5 minutes.
    Mix 2 cups warm water, sugar, shortening and salt.
    Combine with first mixture and add flour to make a medium dough.
    Let stand in warm place until it rises. Then punch down and make into rolls.
