Meatballs With Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cold water
1 egg yolk, beaten
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients.
Shape into 12 (1 1/2-inch) balls.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; reduce heat. Add meatballs to bouillon.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove meatballs and keep warm.
Add lemon juice to bouillon.
Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.
Gradually stir into bouillon.
Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat. Add yolk to bouillon mixture, stirring constantly.
Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
