Tri-Level Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 sq. (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted or 1 envelope no-melt unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    For bottom layer:
    Sift together the 1/2 cup flour, the soda and the first 1/4 teaspoon salt; mix with rolled oats and the brown sugar.
    Stir in 6 tablespoons melted butter or margarine. Pat mixture in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan; bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
