Christmas Cake(Julekake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground cardamon
    2 envelopes dry yeast
    1 c. seeded raisins
    1/2 c. shortening (margarine)
    2 eggs
    1 c. seedless raisins
    3/4 c. citron (6 oz.)
    2 5/8 c. milk
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix the dry yeast with 1/3 of the flour and all the other ingredients.
    Heat milk with margarine over low heat until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add liquids to dry ingredients.
    Beat 2 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer.
    Add 1/2 cup of flour. Add eggs and beat on high speed 2 minutes.
    Add fruit and stir in additional flour.
    Let rise until doubled in size.
    Shape into 3 round loaves; let rise and then bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
