Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions
    1 Tbsp. fat
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 large green pepper
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    salt to taste
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Heat
    oven
    to\t350\u00b0.
    Saute onions and green pepper in fat until
    onions turn yellow.\tAdd meat and fry until mixture falls apart.
    Stir in rest of ingredients.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking
    dish;
    cover and bake for 1 hour.
    Remove lid the last 15 minutes.
