Stuffed Mushrooms Italian - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. medium firm white mushrooms
    1/4 c. finely chopped green onions (with tops)
    1 clove garlic, chopped fine
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped fine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (Italian)
Preparation
    Cut ends from mushrooms. Remove stems from mushrooms. Chop stems finely.
    Cook and stir mushroom stems, green onions and garlic in butter over medium heat until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Fill mushroom caps with stuffing mixture.
    Place mushrooms, filled side up, in a greased baking dish.
    Cook in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
    Makes 24 appetizers.
