Chewy Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 8 to 9 minutes (do not overbake, cookies will be soft; they will puff while baking and flatten while cooling).
    Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack.
    Cool completely.
    Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
