Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. milk
4 eggs
1/2 stick oleo
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
15 pieces French bread (in 1/2-inch pieces)
Preparation

Layer bread in buttered shallow baking dish.
Scald milk with oleo.
Beat egg slightly and sugar; stir in vanilla and nutmeg. Pour milk mixture over bread.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Bake in glass dish in pan of boiling water until center is set and bread brown, about 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Serve hot with ice cream.
