Pear Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 peck (green) pears
1 tsp. salt
1 qt. onions
garlic to taste
1 qt. sweet peppers
1 tsp. celery seed
2 qt. sugar
2 pods hot peppers
Preparation

Grind peeled pears, onions, pepper and all other ingredients. Place in large pot.
Add just enough vinegar to cover (not soupy). Mix well.
Boil for 20 minutes.
Put into hot, sterilized jars. Seal.
Enjoy on peas, beans, etc.
