Hungarian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    2 tsp. paprika
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    8 oz. egg noodles, cooked according to pkg. directions
Preparation
    Cut round steak into strips about 2 x 1/2-inches.
    Heat heavy frying pan to very hot.
    Add meat and stir to begin browning.
    Add onion and cook until beef is browned.
    Add garlic.
    Reduce heat to medium.
    Add 1 cup water, catsup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, paprika and mustard.
    Simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water, add to meat mixture and stir until sauce has thickened.
    Remove from heat and pour over noodles.
