Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Beat butter and shortening for 30 seconds.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well combined.
    Cover and chill 3 hours.
    Work with 1/2 dough at a time on a lightly floured surface to 1/8th thickness.
    Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until done.
    Makes 36 to 38.
