Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box instant pistachio pudding (dry)
    1 large can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1/2 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Combine undrained pineapple with dry pudding.
    Add marshmallows and Cool Whip.
    Mix until well blended.
    Add nuts and/or coconut, if desired.
