Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    3 c. water
    6 potatoes, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cream
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large saucepan.
    Add onion; cook, covered, on low heat until tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Blend in flour.
    Add water, potatoes and salt, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover; simmer for about 30 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add cream; stir well.
