Swedish Pepperkakor - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. dark syrup
    3 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cardamon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add the beaten egg and syrup.
    Sift the flour with dry ingredients and add to first mixture; mix well. Refrigerate the dough overnight.
    Roll very thin, cut in shapes and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
