Marinated Veggie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) bag frozen California Blend veggies
    3 stalks celery, diced
    1 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained (if desired)
    3 green onions, diced
    1 cuke, diced
    3 or 4 tomatoes, diced
    1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
    2/3 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine dressing mix with oil and vinegar.
    Mix well.
    Let set while preparing salad.
    Bring frozen veggies to a boil.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Drain immediately and put in cold water to stop cooking process.
    Drain again.
    Add remaining veggies and toss lightly. Pour dressing over veggies and chill.
    Keeps a long time refrigerated.
