Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 pkg. frozen mixed fruit
1 banana
other fresh or frozen fruit as desired
Preparation

Bake cake as directed on box, using 3 round cake pans.
(Pound cake may also be used.)
Prepare instant pudding as directed on box and mix with the Cool Whip.
Combine the fruit.
In large glass bowl, begin layering trifle, starting with cake, then the fruit, then the pudding, and repeat until all are in bowl.
Top with Cool Whip.
Make at least 5 hours before serving and refrigerate.
