Bavarian Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 egg, beaten
3/4 tsp. melted butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and sift.
Add egg just enough to blend; add melted butter and combine.
Combine milk and water; add to mixture, beating only until batter is smooth.
Combine coconut and pecans; spread on bottom of unbaked pie crust.
Fill with chocolate mixture.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
First 15 minutes at 375\u00b0, then drop heat to 375\u00b0.
