Chicken Divan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 frying chicken breasts, halved
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears or 2 to 3 lb. fresh broccoli
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of celery soup
1 c. sour cream
paprika
Preparation

Simmer chicken in water to cover for 25 minutes.
Skin and bone cooked chicken.
Cook broccoli and drain.
Melt butter, stir in flour and cook until bubbly.
Add broth and Worcestershire sauce; cook, stirring until thickened.
Reduce heat and stir in 1 cup of cheese until melted.
Empty sour cream into medium bowl; gradually add cheese sauce, stirring constantly.
Add soup and stir.
Arrange broccoli in 8 portions in baking dish.
Top each with half a chicken breast, pour sauce over all.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
