Grandma Tritts' Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. long ears corn
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    4 red peppers, chopped
    1 bunch celery, chopped
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 pt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Steam corn for 15 minutes.
    Cut off cob, add rest of recipe. Boil 20 minutes.
    Yields 5 quarts.
